I couldn't believe it when I heard this morning that Gerald had died at only 40 years old. Unbelievable. He was such an amazing talent - a powerful and silky smooth baritone voice that was gorgeous to listen to. This is one of my favourite cd's of his. It has one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard on it - I'd Give Anything. That is a fantastic song that I still love after all of these years. I also really love Same Place, Same Time and Have Mercy. It's one of his best cd's and certainly one of my favourites (apart from G.). His voice was so full of emotion and it stands out here really well. It's a stunning love cd and it is full of bedroom music. I really recommend this to all R&B fans and fans of his in general. To know that we won't hear any more new music is the biggest shame. At least we can hear this over and over to hear his voice whenever we want. Go get a copy of this - it's worth every penny.
