Georgia Soul Council, originally formed in 2010 as the backing band for Otis Redding III, reconvened in 2011 with a shift towards the 70's era Soul-Jazz that is their real musical passion. 2012 saw GSC bring their funkified live shows to the people of the southeast, and they've shared the stage with Lee Fields & The Expressions, Antibalas, Papa Grows Funk, & more.
