As Autumn Calls plays dark, sorrowful melodic metal. The band was formed in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada in 2005 by James and Andrew. 
The band has two releases to date. A self released 3-song EP titled "Emotionless" (2009) and a full length album titled "An Autumn Departure" released through Naturmacht Productions (2011) with a cassette version released by The Northern Cold Productions.
