WINDRUNNERS band from Odessa was completely formed in the end of 2008 and initially determined the direction - power/speed metal with elements of classic heavy and trash, as well as non-standard moves inherent to progressive-metal. In sound, melody, guitar solos the band gives a tribute to such monsters and fathers of style like Blind Guardian, Helloween, Primal Fear, while remaining true to their own style and musical ideas, combining a powerful speed-power militants and epic ballads as well as a few songs in the classic hard-n-heavy style. 
From 2008 to the present day, WINDRUNNERS band performed more than 30 concerts in Odessa and Ukraine, including Odessa annual festival in memory of I.Gankevich "Pique Vests" (in 2009 and 2011), the International Bike Festival "Goblin-show", Metal Special Fest (24, 33, 35), Cold Rock, Metal Grom, Metal Set, DeathDamageFest. The band also took part in a series of live concert on pique vests, 2009, where is won first place among teams of Odessa and the region. Today, the group released the EP WINDRUNNERS "Lifeless" and is now preparing to release a full-length debut album.
