There are no fancy gimmicks when it comes to Burning Down Broadway's "Time Is Money." It's as honest of an attempt as it can get. The title of the band's third release since 2007 is a true testament to where they are at today. Brothers, Max and Dylan Hayden, along with Jeff Bazzo, and Kevin McManus make the current lineup, which has been active since May 2007. The Cleveland based quartet has worked on a devastated music scene since they were kids in high school. Their passion for real rock music has pushed them through hard, and frustrating times as well as taken them to stages throughout the Midwest before enthusiastic crowds-- or no crowd at all. These hardships and successes can be clearly felt and heard with in their hard driven, yet melodic style of music, most recognizable on their upcoming album. This July, BdB will be celebrating their eighth anniversary as a band with the release of the eight-song-album "Time Is Money" at The Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights on July 23. "Time Is Money" was recorded with producer Bryan Patrick at Jungle Studios in Lorain, Ohio during November 2009 through May 2010. With each passing year, performance, and song, Burning Down Broadway continues to earn their respect in the Cleveland music scene and beyond. Their high-energy performances and their straightforward rock music tells it all. "I would put their music up against any modern rock group, and they more than hold their own." -Tim Castelllani & Status Hat Productions, "Work" June 2010
