Formed in 1996,the band were a regular on the Australian live scene,touring with bands including BloodDuster, Damaged,The Berzerker,etc and supports with Disgorge,Pungent Stench and Deeds of Flesh.
Abrasion received multiple top10 nominations in the Music Oz awards for best Hard Rock/Metal act.
With a demo and EP under their belt, they finally released their debut LP Violent Core Traction in 2005.
