this Building formed in November of 2007 with the union of four members: Nick Breining, Chris Kelley, Jesse Wolf, and Jaime Pelaez, two each from recently departed bands. They came together with the goal of creating heartfelt, energetic music that they enjoyed and that people could relate to. They began demo-ing songs almost immediately. Before long, they had released their first single "Stay Awhile" on to their myspace page which became an instant success with their fan base that they had been building. They continued to write and started playing shows at every chance they got. Everywhere they went it was the same positive response that they were receiving online. Armed with a multitude of songs filled with passion, they decided it was time to record their first EP. They started tracking drums for a 6 song EP in early March. Shortly after the completion of the drum tracks, drummer Jaime Pelaez decided to leave the band to pursue a more pop-punk style of music. The remaining members, Nick, Chris, and Jesse, decided to keep moving ahead with full speed. They continued to play shows with a fill-in drummer, and most recently they have secured a full time replacement with the addition of drummer Adam Pitzen. The debut EP has now been released and only time will tell what's in store for this Building. One thing for sure is that they have only just begun.What people have to say about this Building:"Their impressive use of dual vocalists and unusually harmonic effects shows the range these guys can produce. After a few listens, it's hard to imagine that this band will be anything but mainstream before too long" -8beersin.com
