Rebecca Taylor was born in London England, and has a voice that will rock your socks off!When Becky (Rebecca) was 7, she landed Eponihe in the smash hit, "Les Miserables." After her unbelievable performance, she won several awards for her outstanding talent. Including the Thornlike Theatre talent competition, for ages 8-25. Becky beat professionals that were three times her age. After that, she went on winning awards, but not only for singing, but also for dancing. At 9, she won the British Arts Awards Final, for her moving incredible performance of "The Secret Garden." Soon after she made her TV debut on Blue Peter, singing a hear-wrenching rendition of Titanic's famed, "My heart will go on."At age 12, Becky broke EMI musical history, by being the youngest artist, ever signed by EMI. Stephen Jones said, "When you hear Becky sing you simply cannot believe she’s only 12 years old. This voice is extraordinary-there is no other word to describe it. It’s completely unaffected and is one of the most natural voices I have ever come across." Within a month of sighing with EMI Classics, Becky was already recording her debut album. In 2001 her début album, "A Dream Come True," was released, and was an immediate success in England, and nationally. At 12, Becky’s dream and ambition of singing at the, Royal Albert Hall. Soon after, she stunned an audience of 4,000 including Prince Charles at the Farm Aid Appeal Concert. The audience was deeply moved with her beautiful rendition of "Once Upon a December." At Christmas Becky released a single entitled, "You can be a hero," which was especially written for her. And it was featured on BBC1’s Christmas animation, "Second Star to the left." Becky was also a feature artist on, the highly successful DVD, "Barbie as Rapunzel." Becky also took part in Jose Carrerras’s Christmas concert at the Royal Albert Hall, performing for the H.R.H Princess Royal. She also performed for the, "Save the Children’s Fund’s" annual concert. Becky’s second album, "Shine," was released in October of 2003. Becky’s future ambitions are to sing with Robbie Williams, and Sarah Brightman, and to play Christine in the, "Phantom of the Opera." With her amazing singing talents and major worldwide record deal, she has a bright future ahead of her. Having always loved singing, dancing and performing, Becky was thrilled to land the role of Eponine in the smash hit musical 'Les Miserables' at The Palace Theatre, London, when she was 7 years old. Since her performance, she has already won several awards for her amazing talent, including the Thorndike Theatre talent competition for ages 8-25, in which Becky was the youngest finalist. Her dancing skills have also been recognised and at the age of 9 she won the British Arts Award final for her performance of 'The Secret Garden'. Becky dances to a high standard in ballet, tap and modern and studies drama at Llamda. She is also very athletic and competes at a national level in a range of sports. At 12 years old, Becky has already achieved one of her ambitions - to perform live at The Royal Albert Hall. The event was particularly special for Becky as it was her first ever live performance. She stunned an audience of 4,000 including Prince Charles at The Farm Aid Appeal Concert in April 2001, with her performance of 'Once Upon A December' from 'Anastasia'.
