Thorsteinn Einarsson is an Austro-Icelandic musician who has become known for the talent show The great opportunity ist.Einarsson comes from Reykjavik and came at the age of five years for the first time to Salzburg, where his father studied singing. After three years, his parents separated and he moved with his mother back to Reykjavik. [2] At age eleven, he founded the first band.  At 14, he came again to Salzburg, where his father now worked as an opera singer. After compulsory schooling he began an apprenticeship as a chef. In 2014 he participated in the talent show The big chance came in part and as the only man to reach the final, where he eventually finished 4th . With its Final Song Leya, where he co-wrote, he came then into the top 10 of the Austrian charts. When Amadeus Awards 2015 he was awarded in the category Songwriter of the Year.
