Born in Hollywood, California multi-instrumentalist and visual artist Simonne Jones, began composing at age three, where she sang melodies by ear and ultimately teaching herself to play the piano, then composing her first song at age 11. This former Elite fashion model has been playing guitar for over seven years. After writing songs and recording music at her high school, her passion for music continued through college at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she found the time to record and engineer her music, perform regularly and graduate with honors with a degree in visual arts and biomedical research. An accomplished painter, her artwork was first published in 2006 and her first gallery exhibition was held in Florence, Italy. Her work reflects a diverse background, with Cherokee, Afro-Caribbean, French and Italian in her blood. Also a humanitarian, Jones traveled to Ghana in 2007 where she researched an adolescent HIV/AIDS program she created. While there, she developed more of her artistic style. She is currently recording and based in Berlin.
