At this year's Hit The Deck festival in Nottingham we spoke to two of the lovely guys of Attack Attack! new vocalist Phil Druyor and guitarist Sean Bell. When carrying out this interview who would have known that a day later the US band that have seen several lined up changes would call it a day? Or have they? 
 
The band's own statement quoted: 
"The Back in Action Tour will be Attack Attack's final and most ironic tour...We've decided it is time to lay AA down for good...We are sad to lay Attack Attack to rest, but are very excited for what is next in this new chapter of our lives." 
We discuss member changes, the new record and find out that the band have a lot, and I mean a lot of secrets, but just what are they? Read on to find out. 
 
AltSounds: Hiya guys first of all how are you finding the British weather? 
 
Phil Druyor: Love it. 
Sean Bell: It’s great, this is my dream weather. 
Phil Druyor: I love this weather. 
Sean Bell: I live in Southern California which is like everyone’s most desirable weather destination, but I find it a little hot. 
Phil Druyor: [laughs]. 
Sean Bell: I prefer this little overcasty cool… 
 
AltSounds: Breezy, blustery… 
 
Sean Bell: Yeh I like it. 
Phil Druyor: It’s still bright though cos the clouds make a lot of ambient light. 
Sean Bell: Great for photographs… 
 
AltSounds: Yes! So it’s your first time touring the UK with the new line-up,  
how are you finding things? 
 
Phil Druyor: It’s a bit fickle for the start of every set, but as soon as like I convince the kids that’s it’s OK for them to like me [laughs] past the first song it’s good. I can see it on their faces when I take to the stage though; I like that though as it keeps me in check. 
 
Sean Bell: Once they hear him sing they quickly accept him 
 
AltSounds: How are you finding working together as a band with new members? 
 
Phil Druyor: Every member of this band has known each other for like 5 years. My other band and Attack Attack! started our careers together, we’ve known each other ever since. 
 
Sean Bell: Attack Attack! Actually opened before my old band on their first tour ever. 
 
Phil Druyor: Yeh so we all have a bit of a history, we are all the members of all of our other bands that have always hung out together on tour, so it’s been seamless really.
