Vikki & the violence is a pop singer and songwriter from Tilburg, and the alter ego of Chantal van Brummelen. Originally from Arnhem, she dipped into studying fashion for a short period before dedicating her life and love to music. 
 
In her late teenage years, Vikki made her first steps as a performing artist. She auditioned and became part off an all girl group as a guitarist and singer. The band recorded their debut in Sweden, released a top-10 hit single,played the HMH and Ahoy’ and toured in Germany and had their own soap on Nickelodeon. 
 
After the band broke up, she started a new study, as a vocal student at the Rockacademy in Tilburg, where she will graduate in June 2012. It is there, where she started to develop herself as a singer and songwriter and started to write and perform her own music. 
 
After reinventing herself in 2011, Vikki found a new style, a new look and a whole new sound. 
“I learned how to record on my own and started to build new songs. I wanted to make music that makes people want to dance , brings people together and sing a long to the chorus’’. Her live show is a combination of visuals, crazy fashion and the finest musicians around to support her. 
 
Vikki has her own edgy, eclectic style, which emphasizes her versatility as a pop singer and performer and she blends electronic pop with hiphop and dubstep into a catchy cocktail of pop perfection!
